Brian Hauss

Brian Hauss has been involved in agricultural asset management for over 30 years.  Prior to joining Nuveen in 2011, he served as a Vice President at The Water Agency, Inc. performing agricultural water brokerage for 9 years, and worked Capital Agricultural Property Services as a Senior Manager performing agricultural investment and real estate transactions for 6 years.  During the course of his career, Brian has been responsible for acquiring and managing institutional quality farmland located throughout the major growing areas of the western United States and developing a broad understanding of California water issues.  Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.  He is also an Accredited Farm Manager and holds real estate salesperson license in California.
