John Garnica was elected to the Fillmore City Council on November 3rd, 2024 for a four-year term. He previously served on the Fillmore Unified School Board from 1999 to 2015. He graduated from Fillmore High School in 1984 and is a 1988 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. After serving in an armor battalion in Germany, John worked for Ingersoll-Rand in various sales roles. He was then hired by Aquafine Corporation where he was Director of Engineering for 7-1/2 years and Director of Operations for 1-1/2 years. John is currently the Managing Partner of Turbo Facets, LLC., a CNC machine shop specializing in Medical Device parts manufacturing. John has been married to Beverly for 36 years and has three daughters and two grandsons.
